“For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.” Colossians 1:16-17
Were you aware that our Christ was before all, and all consist by Him? He created every throne, every dominion, every principality, every power?
JFB adds, “all creation is therefore affected by His propitiation: sinful creation is strictly “reconciled” from its enmity; sinless creation, comparatively distant from His unapproachable purity is lifted into nearer participation of Him, and in this wider sense is reconciled.”
Propitiation , that great Mercy Seat, consists also in Him. It’s great effect toward sinners consists of unmerited pardon to all who believe.
“No reconciliation is granted fallen angels. ” But,
“A glorious high throne from the beginning is the place of our sanctuary. “Jeremiah 17:12
Amazing reality, our safety is from the beginning, in the sense of the pre-creation throne of God .
But now,

“But now in Christ Jesus ye who sometimes were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ.” Ephesuians2:13
“sufferings and death. Every believing sinner owes his nearness to God, and his interest in his favor, to the death and sacrifice of Christ.” M. Henry
I have always wondered how God’s revelation to Job delivered him and turned his situation.
“Who is this that darkeneth counsel by words without knowledge?” Job 38:2 God refers to Job.
— Words proceeding from ignorance, mistake, and want of consideration. Who is this that disparages my counsels, and darkens the wisdom of my dispensations with his ignorant discourses about them? Benson
It seems that God throws all of Job’s huge problem under the category of ignorance, and impotence. No knowledge and no power. Especially about Creation.
“Gird up now thy loins” —v.3
If thou hast the courage to argue the case with me, as thou hast often desired, make thyself ready for the debate. Benson
Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast understanding. Job 38:4
God takes Job back to the beginning,

- Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened?
- who shut up the sea with doors,?
- Hast thou commanded the morning since thy days; and caused the dayspring to know his place; ?
- Hast thou perceived the breadth of the earth?
- Where is the way where light dwelleth?
- Hath the rain a father?
- Out of whose womb came the ice?
Friends, these and many more questions were the quiery of God. Quips with no answer. Inquiry into the obscure, requests with only one purpose — to Separate God and Job in his tiny eyes, by knowledge impossible to grasp.
In closing, Lets view our world from the eyes of God, Maker and Keeper. Hebrews teaches us, that Christ upholds all things by the word of his power. chapter 1 verse 3.
Psalm 66:9 tells us “God” holdeth our soul in life, and suffereth not our feet to be move.”
Finally, “Now unto him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of his glory with exceeding joy, To the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. ” Jude 1:24 -25 Trust Him! love ya
