Days of Noah

And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart. Genesis 6:5-8

With:

  1. Licentiousness raging.
  2. Violence prevailing.
  3. Corruption deepening;

But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage,

until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. Mattthew 24:37-39

People will be:

  1. self-loving,
  2. money-loving,  proud,
  3. arrogant, insulting, disobedient to parents,
  4. ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable,
  5. slanderous, uncontrolled, brutal, hateful of good, traitorous,
  6. headstrong, swollen with conceit, loving pleasure rather than God, as they retain the outer form of religion but deny its power.

“Stay away from these people!”

For some of them worm their way into homes and get control of weak-willed women who are heaped with sins and swayed by various impulses, 2 Timothy 3:2-6 CJB

“Take heed that no man deceive you.  For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. Matthew 24:4-5

“And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. Matthew 24:10
“And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.” Matthew 24:12

“There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.” Proverbs 30:14

Let’s evaluate:

“Human faith has great power. Scores of unsaved businessmen and entrepreneurs have become multimillionaires through tremendous human faith in their abilities. There is just one problem:

Their faith is limited to self-consciousness through self-awareness and the capacity and ability of the human soul.” Carl H. Stevens

Here’s more:

“The abuser’s continuous degrading comments, insults and projections of blame diminish the victims sense of self.” “Emotional Abuse” Marti Tamm Loring

Futile attempts to flail out verbally in self defense run up against the abuser’s denial of accountability and projection of blame on the individual.” From Loring

Friends the exaltation of psychologically promoted self-realization is creating an accountability-less society. Who are these answering to? Only themselves, only themselves. Yes, the powers prior exhibited as interrogation methods by ungodly governments are kept alive by

any self- proclaiming power-hungry “god” or “goddess.”

“But speaking the truth in love … grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.” Ephesians 4:15

“Patty Hearst was kidnapped by the Simbionese Liberation army and she was first imprisoned in  locked closet. when she expressed political agreement with her captors, they allowed her to spend more time out of the closet. Although blindfolded, she could eat with her captors and attend meetings with them. She depended on these captors for survival both in a positive sense (for feeding her) and in a negative sense (for not killing her). ” ‘The resulting traumatic attachment produced her efforts to please her captors in various ways…” Loring

We  know this pressure resulted in a changed identity.

Finally,

And the Lord said,  “it repenteth me that I have made them… I will destroy…”

But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord. Genesis 6:5-8

Beloved, “Consider Him that endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself lest you be weary and faint in your minds.” Hebrews 12:3

Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather has risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

“For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Wherefore comfort one another with these words! Amen

1 Thessalonians 4:18.

Love ya

HEALING AT THE CROSS is seeing to it that we all learn
a whole lot more about GOD than what Job said in chp 26: 14.
Job reproves the uncharitable spirit of his friend Bildad and
talks about The Lord’s infinite power. In v. 14 Job says, Lo
these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?
We can have as large a portion of God as we want. Just ask!
