Accede, Accept, Access

Accede, Accept, Access.

“Come to, receive, come in — for coming, for taking, for entering.”

The words of my Title are from Latin derivation, but have great significance to us believers. They mean:

We come, we believe, we gain entrance.

Jesus cried out, “come,” and we came — then we received Him — then we were given power to become sons of God with access to Father.

To come required a drawing of invitation. To receive required a removal of obstacles and a cleansing. To enter requires continuance in our purified state.

Friends, we are accepted in the beloved — we have touched power and grace — we have access to the Father in heaven!

When we consider the above with a view to a gathering of souls, we discover “Unity, Peace, and Oneness.”

For these we must endeavor — to keep the unity of the Spirit… a unity produced by the Holy Spirit when obstacles to unity are removed.  These having been removed at Calvary, we must now apply the assets:

  1. Sin removed, righteousness was added —
  2. Unworthiness removed, worthiness was added. —
  3. Judgment removed and mercy was added.
  4. Rejection removed, grace was added. etc. etc.

Next, all is produced in the Spirit by the bond of peace. The word “peace” means “to join.” See Ephesians 4:1-3

Then, in Christ, we are members one of another! — oneness.

I have received righteousness, you have too — I was made worthy, you too — I got mercy, so did you — I accessed grace, and so you, too.

When brethren dwell together in unity, God commands a blessing! See Psalm 133

So,

Our enemy hates unity, he hates the place of blessing. He unifies his minions to attack our unity to inhibit the blessing.

How?

He attacks our Innocence, Uprightness, and Simplicity — Integrity.

When any of these three are removed in an individual, integrity is damaged and blessing stands afar off. “Integrity” equals “individual unity.”

Innocence is the result of our cleansing by the blood of Jesus. He pronounces us “clean.” John 15:3 The devil counters this through accusation.

Uprightness comes as a gift at salvation. The enemy tries to make this conditional, and introduces a works program for access into righteousness.

Simplicity is a single eye toward God. It seeks the kingdom of God first. Satan gets us to seek other things, like our own agenda.

Fellow Christians, these components of unity must we guard. We guard our hearts, for, out of it are the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23

Finally, God’s unity blesses our unity, God’s righteousness blesses our righteousness, God’s integrity blesses our integrity.

God’s blessing makes us rich, and He adds no sorrow unto it. Proverbs 10:22

We must desire the blessing of unity.

Proverbs 11:11 says:  “By the blessing of the upright the city is exalted….”
Proverbs 11:26 teaches “He that withholds corn, the people shall curse him: but blessing shall be upon the head of him that sells it.”
Proverbs 24:25 adds  “But to them that rebuke him (the wicked), shall be delight, and a good blessing shall come upon them.”

Psalm 24:4 tells us “He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. He shall receive the blessing from the Lord.”

In closing,

Diabolos, Interestingly enough, means to tear apart.”  “Satan is the embodiment of the diamonic of lust and the desire for power by means of knowledge which will make man immortal, like God.”Rollo May

So, we can deduct: the desire for power through knowledge-lust toward immortality, tears apart the soul of man and alienates us from the blessing of God. Unity cannot bless division, righteousness cannot bless unrighteousness, singleness cannot bless double mindedness.

God rests in His love — we can too. Paul learned to be content, whether abased or abounding. David washed his hands in innocence. Jeremiah taught us to not seek great or mighty things for ourselves. The opposite activities will divide your soul. Fellows, when we forsake pride, blessings flow. love ya
