“for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. “Revelation 12:10b
Many people do not discern the battle of life, not knowing the Accuser. Perhaps they have related to this Accuser in a cartoon format, perhaps in a scary movie. Nevertheless for every Christian there’s something about your life that comes under accusation and we do well to discern it. Indeed, our Christianity gives us the opportunity to discern.
Psalm 94:19-21 teaches us, “In the multitude of my thoughts within me thy (God’s) comforts delight my soul. Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with thee, which frameth mischief by a law? They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood. “
Brothers and sisters, there are two kingdoms, one of light, glorious light. The other is the Kingdom of darkness. The verse in Psalm 94 reveals how the Kingdom of darkness frames worry, trouble, toil, and hence guilt, shame and fear; and it uses a law. Through thought projection from without, the troublesome thoughts invade the mind of the believer. The Kingdom of light also penetrates the believers thought life from within, but these bring comforts that delight the soul.

Darkness frames mischief by a law. What law? My answer to that is any law. Any law that a person esteems as a vital guide of life, a check mark for discerning good versus evil. It is important here to note that a Christian has been delivered from Law, the Law that was given to regulate spiritual life. Galatians teaches us that this Law came by Moses, this law was given as a schoolmaster to bring us to Christ. This Law was weak through the flash, Romans teaches us . Christ indeed is the end of the law unto righteousness. The law made sin exceedingly sinful, but Christ came as the remedy for sin , bearing in his own body the sins of the world.
Beloved, Romans also teaches us that “sin shall not have dominion over us, sure we are not under the law, but under grace.” Romans 6:14 The civil law is to be followed by all. Here is where confusion comes in sometimes for Christians. Of course we will obey civil law, but it is the spiritual equipment of my soul which is the matter a discussion here. Unfortunately, because of an accused soul resulting in a poor self-image, resulting in depression, the lowered capacity of men and women is destroyed to the simplicity of life. But, Jesus taught us the man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word the proceedeth from the mouth of God. See Matthew chapter 4
Friends , the management of our thought life is vital to our well-being, an understatement. Romans 12:3 teaches us we must think soberly. A Christian word that reminds us that we must not be drunk with the cares of this world.
“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.” Philippians 4:8.

This is not a rule of life, but guidelines for discernment.
“For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.” Galatians_6:3
“If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfil ye my joy, that ye be likeminded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. ” Philippians 2:1-2
” Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.” Philippians 2:3
in closing, consider these verses:
2Corinthians 3:5 ” Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;” and, 2Corinthians 10:7 “Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christ’s, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ’s, even so are we Christ’s.”
Friends, God’s thoughts toward us are not of evil, but to give an expected end. A carnal mind is an enemy of God. A Spiritual man discerns all things, yet is discerned of no man. See 1 Corinthians 2:15
Finally Have the “mind of Christ”. love ya
