“But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived. ” He was referring to the same last time. 2 Timothy 3:13,

“Adam and Eve were in a perfect environment, but Eve was deceived because, as a responder, she didn’t abide under her covering—and she didn’t receive doctrine from God.” Dr. Carl H. Stevens

See Genesis 3:4 “the serpent deceived her by saying, “You will not surely die as you have been told”

Adam; he deceived Eve. ” CHS

In Revelation we see the fate of the deceiver. “And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image.” “And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, Revelation 20:10

“Satan can only deceive minds that have become familiar with what God sees as rare, holy, and set apart for His use alone.” CHS

Isaiah 44:14-20 teaches, “He feedeth on ashes: a deceived heart hath turned him aside, that he cannot deliver his soul, nor say, Is there not a lie in my right hand? ” (idolatry) “He shepherds his soul on ashes.” He establishes himself in self-erected gods of his imagination. They sleep walk.

“When Satan deceives a Christian who refuses to grow in grace and knowledge, that person’s unconscious mind, in self-preservation, overrules the conscious mind.” He acts to save his life in self preservation. lives in the (unconscious mind)therefore our unconscious mind is not established within the limits of what is true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and of a good report, with virtue and praise. Philippians 4:8  “… think on these things.” In other words, we have stepped outside God’s boundary lines for thinking.

As a result of not putting God first, they don’t feel right; they can’t think right; and they don’t do right.

Exodus 20:3  Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Paul said, “commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God” (2 Corinthians 4:2).” We can have a compromised conscience by only partially living by God’s truth and deceive ourselves because we talk ourselves into the wrong information.”

“Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived:
neither fornicators, nor idolators, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with

Inside of every Christian is a heart that not only is deceitful, but also is desperately wicked (Jeremiah 17:9). (heart).

In closing, at best we have here a partial list of the means to deception. Eve’s secret flaw is at the heart of it all — never leave your covering. Essentially, as Jeremiah spoke in 10:23  “O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps. ” Folks the heart is deceitful, desperately wicked.

“Who can know it?” Jeremiah 17:9

See 1 John 3:20-21, and don’t live in condemnation. Acts 20:32 refers us to the Word of His Grace. Stay there.
