Coal, grease, and broken chain, on this stoker |
Darkness creates poverty, just as surely as light creates vitality. The big “D” likes to penetrate a life by creating a deep divide away from true life and light, and then providing a “light” of its own origin, a kind of dark-light. With this, darkness pretends true light, to create in a man a deceptive existence. Consequently, with this empty-light filling in, a person may not figure it out; they are not experiencing the true light, but a vacuum instead.
So, what gives? Well, darkness, a false light, keeps a person aloof from the healthy vitamin “d” produced of true light, if we take the natural analogy to start. Secondly, life-killers like mold and fungus grow in this dark, giving us the picture of decay in a soul. See, the darkened soul, slowly dying, has the false impression of being lightened as bright as is possible. The darkened one becomes accustomed to the little-lite, and He cannot see afar off. Diabolical scheme? —O Yes, friends.
Lets cut the small talk, do you like being lied to or deceived? Do you enjoy being used, or treated as a mere pawn or piece of flesh? How do you like it when a drunken driver runs over your children or a rapist tracks your wife? Do you not treat this with disdain? Then why, my friend, do people continue to tolerate the dark?
The answer to that; “…light has come into the world, yet men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil,” is what the Bible says in John 3:19. Ya, the deeds are evil, so men love darkness more. Can we say it? Men, love darkness better. This explains why the low-lite phony candle holders are esteemed over the brightness and glory of the living Sun.
So lets regroup: filthy, low down, raunchy, deceitful, degrading, ugly, are all descriptive words for what men like best, O big bright shining humanity! Let’s eat some dirt or rub some in our faces, so we can feel better! Maybe we ought to just throw-up as do the monkeys in the cages. Hey, let’s take a smell, how do we like the odor of flesh burning, or dead fish, or road kill? Are we not grossed out enough yet?
See, everybody who has been prior-deceived by the dark, and later has experienced the true light, finds this fake and pretentious light just as hideous as spoken of above. The smell, to us, so real and foul, offends at the first contact to it, and the audacity of it angers us.
Nonetheless, Our private side hatefully begins to fall prey to dark’s enchanting. Piercing through to the inner chamber of evil imagination, a wanton sphere of fantasy’s diabolic residing, in the unconscious realm of every man; it illuminates it morally, exposes it, and empowers its vivid definition by it’s dark-light shining.
This is why God created us with the capability to hate, and yes, we must abhor the dark. We must abstain from all appearance of it, and treat it like the plague that it is. People? We love. Infection? We despise.
God’s enemy is the Dark. That Dark put Christ on a cross and is a murderer from the beginning. The dirt-loving black of endless falling will be the hell of future darkness. The pit of fire burning eternally will destine the dark. Thankfully, we will cheer that day and not cry for the dark; yes cheer, and exuberantly cheer!
So, in our little world, the foul-mongers of stench supreme, attack the light bearers, because true light exposes them. All is not open for viewing by everyone, as of yet, in the big scheme of God. So we must continue not hiding our light under a bushel. Some, who live as victims of the dark, will be lightened.
Frankly, sick of the weird and deceiving dark, I want to shift to something more pleasant. It is the light shown in the face of Jesus Christ! —beautiful and pure, wholesome and loving, joyful and at peace. Bliss and blessing, the perfection of every thing, the glory of the Father, and Comforter of the broken hearted, compassionate friend of publicans and sinners, He invites every creature into the marvelous light of His presence, where no false light can go, and no qualifications are needed.
In conclusion, as the dark created poverty in my soul by drawing out the latent, though, judged once-and-for-all sin-nature —true light draws out what is new in me, my regenerated spirit, soul, and body. I am whole! O we don’t have to sweat it. It is a matter of nearness. Just step away from the crap and its proximity, and face into the heaven —out of dark/light phony-baloney, into the light of the glorious and true good news —the free gift of eternal life. Amen
